In this week's episode, we discuss how we respond to other people’s mental health problems. Listen as we talk about how we navigate when people come to us to dump their mental health narratives into us, and our struggles with setting boundaries with others in the workplace and in social settings. Dive in as we process how people can misread and misuse our superpowers as therapists and healers.

Key takeaways from this episode:

1. Dumping your narrative onto others can possibly leave you feeling vulnerable and fragile.

2. Set the boundary that feels right for you. Once you set the healthy boundaries stick to those limits.

3. Time and place matter. Read the room. For example, if co-worker dumping is occurring in a work setting then clearly make sure where you stand in the most empathetic and caring way that you can to others.

4. Consider how you can set energetic boundaries and also recognize that it’s ok to advise others to go to therapy. I hear you and I also am guiding you to the more appropriate way of healing.
